Project cargo and heavy lift handling in Venezuela
T&T handles oversized and heavy project cargo at Venezuelan ports: with our own certified equipment we lift configurations up to 120 metric tons, and working with ship’s gear and engineered lift arrangements we have executed single pieces of up to 350 metric tons, including tandem lifts and transshipment to barges and floating platforms.
Every heavy lift starts on paper: piece geometry, verified weights and center of gravity, lifting points, gear selection against certified Working Load Limits, ground bearing at the laydown point, and the transport route to final position. Our rigging inventory, certified by Holloway Houston with Crosby and Van Beest hardware, includes spreader bars from 30 to 50 tons, telescopic spreaders up to 80 tons, wheel nets, belly bars and heavy wire slings, all tracked by serial in our equipment management system.
Where the port has no shore cranes we engineer the operation around ship’s gear, including tandem lifts with double cranes. Our people have worked alongside Mammoet and ALE Heavy Lift on special projects of national scale, and our specialization is the oversized cargo of the oil industry: drilling equipment, coiled tubing units, industrial modules, crawler machinery, tubulars and structures.
