Terminal Ops: the port call, live

Terminal Ops is T&T’s own AI-assisted operations platform, built in-house for Venezuelan port realities. Field supervisors log the Statement of Facts live from on board while the vessel works; principals follow the call in real time with SOF progress, cargo balance and a photo gallery, and receive a consistent documentary package the moment the vessel sails.

The traditional port call record is reconstructed from notebooks days after sailing, which is exactly when discrepancies are born. Terminal Ops eliminates the reconstruction: the supervisor on board logs each event at the moment it happens, the photograph is attached to the event with its time stamp, and the Statement of Facts builds itself as the operation advances, consistent with the tally and the photo file by construction.

For a line’s operations desk, the practical change is visibility: instead of waiting for the evening report, they open the portal and see where the operation stands right now, what has been discharged, what remains, and what the pier looks like. When something goes wrong, the evidence already exists, ordered and time-stamped.

The platform was validated in pilot operations and now runs on active calls at Guanta as part of our standard service.
